In the wake of the devastating directions the state of California has
signed into law regarding what is being taught in public schools, Cedar Grove
Academy was inaugurated. Alexandra Schmid and Rori Morrow-Firebaugn,
co-founders of Cedar Grove Academy, have long held that the foundations that
determine the success of any individual's literacy and understanding of the world
around them is dependent on strong family values found in religious teachings
and a natural education.

The Christian Exodus from public schools to home schooling within California is
coming to a fever pitch. Parents are seeing what is being taught in the schools
and are shocked to see the theft of their children's innocence by the state, not
to mention the violence and erosion of the family unit by public schools.
Parents are taking back control in greater numbers that are increasing yearly,
taking control of the education of their children by teaching them How to think
not What to think! |

The state of California cannot be swayed anytime soon at the ballot box, so
parents are opting to do what comes naturally: home school their children in a
natural setting. |
